What is the Acworth Cultural Arts Center?
Located in beautiful historic downtown Acworth at 4367 Senator Richard B Russell Square at the old jailhouse. Already deeply ingrained with the community and its history, the Acworth Cultural Arts Center is the musical epicenter for Acworth. A 501(c) non-profit organization built to promote and preserve the music, arts, and performances of the Acworth community.
Home to the Allatoona Booke Fest once a year and the on-going Songwriter Showcase with the Smoky Mountain Songwriters Festival.
Acworth Cultural Arts Center brings the community together with classes for everything that promotes arts and culture for the citizens of Acworth like printmaking classes and musical performances from local talented musicians.
Acworth Cultural Arts Center history
Formed to promote education and awareness for the arts and culture in Cobb County, North Georgia and Acworth, Georgia. The Acworth Cultural Arts Center was founded in the old city jailhouse by community organizers with the support of local artists, and individual supporters.
